Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 for Linux/Unix:
- CPU: Pentium IV or AMD64
- RAM: 0.5 GB + ~2GB per 10000 users
- HDD: 0.1 GB + ~3GB per 1000 sites
- Minimum screen resolution: 1024x768
Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 for Windows:
- Processor: 1-gigahertz (GHz) Pentium III-compatible or faster processor recommended
- Memory: 512 megabytes (MB) of RAM or more recommended
- Hard Disk: Approximately 350 MB of available hard-disk space for the recommended installation
- Minimum screen resolution: 1024x768
Browser Requirements
- Internet Explorer 5.5 and above
- Mozilla 1.4 and above
- Firefox 1.0 and above
Software Requirements
Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 for Linux/Unix:
The following software should be installed in the system prior to the Plesk Sitebuilder installation:

PHP 5 with all necessary components is shipped with Plesk Sitebuilder.
Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 for Windows
The following software should be installed in the system prior to the Plesk Sitebuilder installation:
- OS Windows 2008 Server (x32, x64) any edition or OS Windows Server 2003 any edition and any version (32-bit or 64-bit) with Service Pack 2 (Note: It is very important to have the latest service packs installed prior to installing Plesk Sitebuilder)
- If you have OS Windows Server 2003 any edition and any version (32-bit or 64-bit) with Service Pack 1, then you need IIS v6.0 installed on your computer.
The following software also needs to be available in order for Plesk Sitebuilder for Windows to work properly:
- Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0
- Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 (2005 Express included in installation package)
- MDAC 2.8
- Windows Installer 3.1 (if not installed, Installation Wizard will install in automatically)
Published Sites Server Requirements
Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 for Linux/Unix:
- Any Linux/Unix OS
- Apache web server (any version)
- PHP >= 4.3.9 (mail support should work)
- PHP extensions:
- Ioncube >= 3.1.15 http://www.ioncube.com/loaders.php
- mbstring
- zlib
- session
- dom
- domxml_xslt or xslt
- sqlite (2.x, support UTF-8 encoding)
- gd >=2 0 (with support PNG, GIF, JPG, BMP formats)
Plesk Sitebuilder 4.5 for Windows:
- Windows 2000 or newer
- IIS 6.0 or newer
- ASP.NET 2.0
- Location itself should be configured to be an IIS application (not a simple virtual folder)
- IIS application must be mapped into application pool that does not host any ASP.NET 1.1 applications (but it may host any number of other ASP.NET 2.0 applications)
- Location root folder should contain a subfolder named App_Data that has all modify permissions granted to the account under which the application pool runs
- ADO.NET provider for OLE DB must be enabled.
- Web permissions for web application must be correctly configured. For details please refer to Requirements to Hosts section of Administrator's Guide.
