The Parallels Operations Automation Solution for Hosted Exchange is a pre-packaged offering that includes the software, services, and expertise needed to rapidly deploy business class email. This solution includes a sub-set of the full Parallels Operations Automation functionality so that service providers can deploy a hosted Exchange offering at an affordable price. The Parallels Operations Automation Solution for Hosted Exchange can be implemented with one of the following recommended architectures:
- 12 server deployment (about 5,000 mailboxes)
- 19 server deployment (about 30,000 mailboxes)
Or, for an additional fee, the solution can be designed specifically for your existing environment.
Licensing Structure and Options
The Parallels Operations Automation Solution for Hosted Exchange has a one time licensing fee plus ongoing monthly mailbox fees. Service providers can add several options to the base plan:
- Option 1: Reseller support. Parallels charges a one time fee for the initial installation of resellers - including branding and service plans. Additional resellers can be added at no charge by the service provider.
- Option 2: Large deployment. Parallels charge a one-time deployment fee for a large server deployment.
- Option 3: Wireless server support. Parallels charges an additional one-time fee for the initial deployment of BlackBerry and Good Mobile Messaging servers.
All options include complimentary Parallels services support to help install and configure the solution. Parallels provides pre-architected designs, software installation, service plan configuration, and storefront customization.
